James Hudson, Jr

Timmonsville, S.C. Funeral services for James Clayton Hudson, Jr. age 67, will be held Friday at 2:00 at New Providence Baptist Church. Rev. Cliff Leonard will officiate. Burial will be in New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Hudson was born in Florence a son of the late James Clayton Hudson, Sr. and Marion McKeag Hudson. He was owner of Hudson Real Estate and served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Rehobeth BaptistChurch in Florence. Surviving are a Special Friend, Kathy Stokes, Hartsville; one son, James Clayton (Jim Bob) Hudson, III, Florence; two sisters, Ann DuBose, Florence and Vickie (Richard) Stokes, Florence; four grandchildren, Rachael Hudson, Florence, Savannah, Sawyer & Lane Hudson, Charleston; sister in law, Terry Hudson, Florence. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene (Gene) Hudson. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice House, 1203 East Cheves St. Florence, S.C. 29506.
