James Carroll "Jimbo" Easterling

Mr. James Carroll “Jimbo” Easterling, 66, of Hartsville, passed away Tuesday morning, April 18^th, 2023.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening, April 20^th, 2023, from 5-7 at Norton Funeral Home.

A native of Hartsville, Mr. Easterling was a son of the late Bobby Carroll & Barbara Ann Melton Easterling.  He was a loving and strong willed man who worked in the trucking industry for his entire life.

Surviving are his children: Erin (Josh Tiller) Matthews of McBee and Donnie (Erin) Easterling of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren: Sydnie Matthews, Dempsey Easterling, and Sutton Easterling; siblings: Debbie Gilbert of Hartsville, Lynn McKnight of Florence, Gene (Melinda) Easterling of Hartsville, John (Lori) Easterling of Hartsville, and Doug (Tammy) Easterling of Hartsville; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Virginia Woods.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to the Hebron Colony Ministries at 356 Old Turnpike Road, Boone, NC 28607.
