James Gainey

Hartsville, S.C. Graveside services for James Ernest (Jim) Gainey, age 50, who passed away March 10, will be held Sunday at 3:00 at Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Dr. Tim McKnight & Rev. Ken Hughes will officiate. Visitation will be Sat. 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Mr. Gainey was born in Hartsville a son of James Carroll Gainey, Jr. and Judy Stogner Gainey. He was a graduate of Hartsville High School and Francis Marion University. He was employed with Darlington County Department Social Services, coached Recreation League, Travel Team and Palmetto Rage Softball Teams for several years. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Karen Huckabee (Missy) Gainey, Hartsville, His Parents, Hartsville, one son, Kamden Gainey, daughters, Michael & Tara Gainey, all of Hartsville, brother John (Trish) Gainey, Hartsville.
