View Remembrance Video Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for James Owens (Bo) Brown, age 75, who passed away July 10, will be held Monday at 4:00 pm at the Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Rev. Brian Enlow, Rev. Mike Parnell and Rev. Marvin Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in the Tabernacle Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 3-5 pm at the funeral home. Bo was born in Hartsville a son of the late James Leslie (Bill) Brown and Mary Ruth Haire Brown. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company after 37 years of service and a member of the Old Timers Club. After retirement he worked as a Bailiff at the Darlington County Court House. He was an active member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church where he was the grounds keeper for over 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Hilda Melton Brown, Hartsville; one sister, Joyce (Gerald) Walters, Hartsville; two brothers, Charles & Johnny Brown, Hartsville.
