It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jacquelyn (Jackie) Benjie Stephens Woltjer. the daughter of Jim and Gay Stephens.
Jacquelyn Benjie (Jackie) (Stephens) Woltjer, 63, of Worthington, Mn., died Monday, 4 September 2023. In Brandon, Iowa.
She was Born on Saturday, 10 October 1959, in Bishopville, SC, she was the daughter of SFC Jimmy B. Stephens (Retired) of Bethune, SC and Lenora Gay (Watkins) of Bethune, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, (Rick) Lee Woltjer, Jackie was preceded in death by four grandparents, John Benjamin (JB) Stephens, Mary (Alice*) Stevens, Adrian Daniel Watkins and Margaret Kate (Robinson) Watkins Jackie is survived by three children, Adrian Benjamin Stephens of Kershaw Co. SC, Stepdaughter Jennifer Lee Thies and her husband Jesse Thies of Worthington, Mn., and Kelvin Altero Gutierrez of Kalispell, Montana; four siblings, Danny Nathan Stephens and his wife Nancy Ann (Perino) of Modesto Ca., Yancey Dean Stephens Sr. of Virginia, Elijah Ray Stephens and his wife Cheryl Jean (Gilmer), Kershaw, SC, and Mary Margaret (Mimi) (Stephens) Morrill and her husband Freeman Wayne Morrill of Tn; grandchildren, Thomas” Gauge” Wildman, and Temperance Adrian Stephens, Makenna Lynn Thies, Nicholas John Thies, and Eva Rose Thies.
Jackie loved animals and birds, several perished with her in the motorhome accident. Jackie worked as a retail mgr., on a ranch, (fed calves, milked cows); in a retail meat dept, and as an inventory control specialist.
Memorial services will be held 12:00pm Saturday, October 28, 2023 at High Hill True Light Church Cemetery in Lucknow, SC.
