Jacqueline Lane

Mrs. Jacqueline D. Lane, 77, of Hartsville, passed away Monday morning, November 27th, 2017, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in St. Luke United Methodist Church.  Reverend Carl Hunsucker will officiate with burial following in Magnolia Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Lane was born in Dresden, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold Maurice & Dorothy King.  She devoted 40 years of her life to teaching and enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband.  Jacqueline was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church for 50 years and was an actress with the Hartsville Community Players.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Lane of the home; daughter, Kendra Woods and husband, Dennis of Kingsport, Tennessee; son, Gordon Lane and wife, Laurie of Hartsville; grandchildren, Lacey Kelly and husband, Corey & Brooke Mogy; one great-grandchild, Emma Kelly; and a  brother, Larry King and wife, Shirley of Dresden, Ohio.
