Funeral services for Jack Thomas Garrison, age 71, will be held Wednesday at 5:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville Chapel. Rev. Kathy Carr and Clay Garrison will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Matthew Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jack was born in Great Falls a son of the late Jimmy and Bessie Lee Galloway Garrison. He was retired from International Paper after 31 years of service and then worked for Salem Leasing Company. He was a member of Beauford Baptist Church. He loved to fish and hunt and his passion was growing flowers and loved the Mountains.

Surviving are his wife, Diane McCaskill Garrison, Bishopville; one son, Timothy (Andrea) Garrison, Jefferson; one daughter, Lorie Ann (Scott) Sutton, Camden; six grandchildren, Chris (Ashley) Sutton, Chase (Alexandra) Sutton, Caitlyn Sutton, Clayton (Kara) Garrison, Cole and Collier Garrison; four great grandchildren, Jocelynne , Skylar, Benjamin and Anthony Chase Sutton; two brothers, Don (Debbie) Garrison, Lancaster and Wayne (Jean) Garrison, Camden; six sisters, Doris (Rev. Homer) Hinson, Ruth Baker and Nancy (Gary) Burris, Lugoff; Bobbie Jean (Sonny) Wilson, Lancaster, Joyce Cook, Sumter and Bonnie Wingard, Bishopville. He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Thomas Garrison, brother, David Garrison.
