Ila Simpson

Bishopville, S.C. Funeral services for Ila Mae Simpson age 87, who passed away May 21, will be held Friday at 4:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville Chapel. Rev. Arlin Kirkland will officiate. Burial will be in the Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Mrs. Simpson was born in Anderson a daughter of the late Henry & Ressie Daccus Bryant. She worked for the US Postal Service for a number of years. Surviving are one daughter, Opal (Larry) Hopkins, Bishopville; three sons, Michael Simpson, Anchorage, Alaska, Robert (Gloria) Simpson, Anchorage, Alaska and Clyde (Cindy) Simpson, Georgia; three sisters, Mable (Raymond) Pelfrey, Pendleton, Janet Stasney, Pendleton and Emma Lou Worley, Clinton; two brothers, Floyd Bryant, Liberty and Nathan Bryant, Westminister; six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. www.nortonfh.net
