Hartsville, SC Services for Hudson Pete Boykin age 73 will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 3:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 5-7pm at the funeral home. Pete passed away on Thursday, January 23 at his residence. He was born in Bishopville the son of Annie Bell Hooker and the late Hudson Boykin. He workedfor Beaver Tire Service for 22 years, he wasemployed with Boykins Drywall for over 20 years up until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Mary ONeal Boykin, Hartsville; his mother of Hartsville; sons, Charles (Robin) Boykin, Marcus Boykin, Eric Boykin all of Hartsville, Travis Vincent, Camden; daughters, Tysha Scalf, Hartsville, Jenny Rogers and her friend Don Stokes, Bishopville; siblings, Robert (Judy) Boykin, Hartsville, Hudson C. (Becky) Boykin, Hartsville,John (Kay) Clark, McBee, Tyron (Lois) Clark, Patrick, Tony (Wanda) Blackwell, Hartsville, Carolyn (Mickey) Woods, Jessup, GA; 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; close family friends, Karen Morse, Florence, Scott Park, Camden, Melanie Griffith, Chesterfield.
