Hope Privette

Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Hope Smith Privette, age 55, who passed away December 21, will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Dr. Gary Colboch, Dr. Milton G. Frazier and Rev. John Hamilton will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Hope was born in Hartsville a daughter of Earlwood Smith & the late Peggy Jo Ballard Smith. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was employed at Emmanuel Baptist Church for many years a Church Secretary. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and daughter in law. Surviving are her husband Gary Privette, her father; daughter, Hollie Elizabeth Privette; son, Weston Smith Privette; grandchildren, Haynes McLeod & Dempsey Jackson Privette; beloved mother & father in law, Robert (Bubba) & Evelyn Privette, all of Hartsville.
