Hilton Griggs

Bishopville, S.C.

Funeral services for Hilton Guy Griggs, age 84, will be held Friday at 3:00 at Wayside Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Baker and Rev. David Mullin will officiate. Burial will be in the Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall at the church.

Mr. Griggs was born in Hartsville a son of the late Jessie Luke & Lizzie Brigman Griggs. He was a member of Wayside Baptist and retired from Bishopville Manufacturing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred Sansbury Griggs, Bishopville; two daughters, Linda (Steve) McNeil, Lynn Haven, Florida and Pat Griggs, Manning; three sons, Guy Griggs, Bishopville, Danny Ray (Lynn) Griggs, Bishopville and Randy (Melissa) Griggs, Bishopville. 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
