Helen Austine Crowley

Services for Helen Austine Grant Crowley age 76 will be held 3:00pm Saturday at Cedar Creek Baptist Church.  Pastor Jeff Williams will officiate.  Burial will be in Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.

Mrs. Crowley went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 27, 2020.  She passed away in Spartanburg, SC.  She was born in Shelby, NC the daughter of the late Robert Mitchell and Lillian Emory Grant.  Mrs. Crowley was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, she was retired from Wellman Industries.  She loved her family and friends, but most importantly she loved serving the Lord.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Joe Hugh Crowley, Sr., Spartanburg; sons Joey (Angie) Crowley, Roebuck; grandson, Alex Crowley, Roebuck; brothers, Ben (Cheryl) Grant, Simi, CA, Jim (Evelyn) Grant, Brenham, TX; sisters, Linda (Joe) Gold, Shelby, NC, Mary Alice Brittain, Shelby, NC; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by several siblings.
