Helen Winburn

Funeral services for Helen Byrd Winburn age 86, will be held Friday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton funeral Home. Rev. Jay Brunson and Rev. Tami Stover will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Winburn was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Jesse Byrd, Sr. and Roxie Griggs Byrd. She was a Charter member of Christian Fellowship Assembly of God and served faithfully for 39 years and was a Church Greeter for 15 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are one daughter, Elaine Winburn Huneycutt, Hartsville; one son, Donald (Nancy) Winburn, Charleston; one brother, Jesse Byrd, Jr. Hartsville; three sisters, Patricia (Allen) Winburn, Hartsville, Libby (Hamp) Blackwell, Hartsville and Linda (Walter) Johnson, Hartsville; two grandchildren, Jeff (Crystal) Huneycutt, Hartsville and Amy (James) Lindler, Irmo; five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Winburn, two sisters, Frances Spell and Doris Skinner; one brother, James Byrd.
