16 HN Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Juanita Lane Peavy age 86, who passed away September 21, will be held Wednesday at 4:00 at the First Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Carey Pratt, Rev. John Griggs and Mr. Jimmy Peavy will officiate. Burial will be in the New Market Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Peavy was born in Camden a daughter of the late Eugene & Gladys Rogers Lane. She was raised by her grandparents, John Henry & Nona Rogers following the early death of her parents. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was for many years a member of New Market United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Daphine Peavy, Hartsville; three sons. Jimmy (Renee) Peavy, Hartsville, Steve (Lisa) Peavy, Hartsville and Gene (Deborah) Peavy, Hartsville; 10 grandsons; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Myrtle Moore, Hartsville, Mazie Beam, Camden and Macie Guinn, Camden; one brother, Jerry Lane, Panama City, Fla; Special niece, Carla Benton. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Peavy; her step mother, Willie Blanche Lane and nine siblings. www.nortonfh.net
