View Remembrance Video McBee, SC Memorial services for Mr. Harvey George Spradley age 89 will be held Saturday at 3:00pm at Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Short will officiate. Visitation will be held 1-3pm Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Spradley passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia. He was born in McBee the son of the late William Haskell and Eunice Blackwell Spradley. He was of Baptist Faith andthe former owner of Spradley Floor Sanding. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Camp Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon and World War II Victory Medal. His hobbies were fishing and vegetable gardening. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Margie Ann Gardner, Bethune; her children, Ken, Debbie, James and Terry, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Sara Cumbee, Enterprise, AL, Carolyn (William) Rutland, Summerville, Patricia (Tony) Munoz, North Charleston; brother, James Spradley, McBee. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by siblings, Lois, Betty, Mae, Shelia, Billy, Russell and Richard. Memorials maybe made to Palmetto Health Hospice, P.O. Box 352, Newberry, SC 29108.
