Harold Beasley, a beloved brother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, in Hartsville, South Carolina. He was born on February 28, 1948, and was known for his kind spirit and deep love for his family.
Harold spent a significant part of his career in the restaurant industry before dedicating 40 years to RBC Bearings, where he exemplified commitment and hard work. He was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in fishing, driving a tractor, and his passion for Nascar Racing. Throughout his life, Harold remained deeply connected to his roots, raised in a large family with humble beginnings.
A true testament to his character was the inseparable bond he shared with his twin brother, Carroll. Their relationship was profound, filled with mutual love and support, and it is a connection that will remain forever cherished.
In his passing, Harold leaves behind several siblings: Carroll (Deanna) Beasley, Charles (Gail) Beasley, Jerry (Barbara Ann) Beasley, and Jean (Murray) Griggs, all of Hartsville. Additionally, he is survived by several nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mell Beasley, and several siblings—Ruth Mixon, Ruby Bailey, Robert Beasley, Bobbie Feagin, Doris Johnson, George Beasley, Laverne Beasley, and Diane Mixon.
A graveside service will be held on February 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Westview Cemetery, located at 2223 Kelleytown Rd, Hartsville, SC 29550, followed by a visitation. Pastor Charles McLendon will officate, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor and celebrate the life of Harold Beasley, who touched many lives with his kindness and unwavering love.
