Grover Steve Peavy

Services of Remembrance for Grover Steve Peavy age 59 will be held Wednesday at 4:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Pastor Scott Davis and Pastor John Griggs will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home, other times at 213 Clyde Road in Hartsville.

Steve passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020.  He was born in Hartsville the son of the late Luther and Juanita Lane Peavy.  He was a member of Hartsville Advent Christian Church where he served as a  Deacon, he worked at Duke Energy for many years.  Steve was a member of Lake Robinson Rescue Squad for over 30 years, he loved blue grass music and was a talented banjo player.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Devin Steve Peavy, Columbia, Harris Macray (Miranda) Peavy, Hartsville, Nicholas Albert (Brittany) Peavy, McBee; sister, Daphine Peavy, Hartsville; brothers, Jimmy (Renee) Peavy and Gene (Deborah) Peavy, both of Hartsville; five grandchildren.
