Funeral services for Grady Floyd Gaskins, who passed away September 2, 2024 will be held Friday at 11 :00 am at the Union Methodist Church. Rev. Tracy Gooding will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 pm at Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville.

Grady was born in McBee, a son of the late Mike and Lizzie Reynolds Gaskins. He was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church, retired from Elky Industries in Camden. He was a loving Son, Father, Brother and a friend to all that knew him.

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon (Joseph) Baytes, Kershaw and Jessica ( Jacob) Thompson, Elgin; one son, Larry (Chastity) Gaskins, Cassatt; two sisters, Joyce Perdue, Bethune and Ruth Dowey, Lugoff; seven grandchildren, Meagan Miles, Abigail Baytes, Carter Baytes, Michael Gaskins, Brittany Gaskins, Olivia Thompson and Helen Thompson; three great grandchildren, Maxwell Miles, Molly Miles, Madilynn Gaskins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Gaskins, J.C. Gaskins, Dorothy Gaskins, Claudie Parker and Roy Gaskins.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Morrell Nursing Center and Crescent Hospice.
