Gracy Geraldine Allen

Gracy Geraldine Allen (née Compton), aged 92, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Gallatin, Tennessee.

A native of Cadiz, KY, she was born January 9,1932, the daughter of the late Walter Compton and the late Nellie (Sumner) Compton.

Gracy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas T. Allen, daughter, Linda Sewell, granddaughter Robin Sewell, and son-in-law Willie Henson. 

She is survived by her loving children, Sandra Ziegel (William), Jean Henson, Judy Mabry (Phillip), Bonnie Allen, and Thomas Allen, Sr. (Thresa); 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gracy’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
