Gracie Brown

Services of Remembrance for Gracie “GG” Snyder Brown age 76 will be held 3:00pm Sunday at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Pastor Tim Skipper will officiate.  A private family burial will follow the services.  Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon 3:00-5:00pm at Norton Funeral Home.

Gracie was born in Hartsville the daughter of the late Hubert Munson and Catheryn Taylor Snyder.  She was retired from Sonoco Products Company and a member of the Old Timers Club.  She attended Calvary Tabernacle Church.  Gracie had a giving heart, she loved everyone, she had a special bond with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, John William Brown, Sr.; children, John William “Shot” (Tracie) Brown, Jr., Hartsville, Catheryn Louise “Cathy” Brown, Hartsville, William Chad Brown, Hartsville;  grandchildren, Carrie Brown (Austin) Royal, Darlington, John William (Jake) Brown, III, Hartsville, William Harrison Corns, Hartsville, Catheryn Grace (Gracie) Corns, Hartsville; great grandchild, Austin Reid Royal, Jr. Darlington; sister, Vickie (Henry) Taylor, Hartsville; special pet, Simba.
