Gloria Jean Drew Tyner age 79 went to her Heavenly Home on April 11 while at the McLeod Hospice House with her loving family by her side.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Edwards Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. John Griggs will officiate. Burial will be in the Edwards Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday 5-7 at the funeral Home.
Gloria was born in Marion a daughter of the late Edward Lamar Drew and Virginia Smith Drew. She was a faithful member of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church for many years and was retired from Dixie Cup in Darlington.
Surviving are her husband, James Darrell (JD) Tyner, Hartsville; three brothers, Dennis (Mary) Drew, McBee, Jack Drew, Bethune and Donnie (Tammy) Drew, Charleston; two sisters, Margaret Campbell, Darlington and Bonnie Faye Icard, Hickory, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; two special nieces who cared for her the last nine weeks of her life, Jennie (Roger) Winburn, McBee and Linda (Todd) Flowers, Hartsville; a dear special friend, Barbara Howitz, Hartsville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by twins; two sisters, Judy Drew Brunson and Patricia Ann Campbell; two brothers, James Drew and Ronnie Drew.
