Glenn Horton

Services of Remembrance for Glenn Horton age 70 will be held 3:00pm Saturday at St. Matthew United Methodist Church.  Pastor Champ Squires will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services in the church.

Mr. Horton passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.  He was born in Tooele, Utah the son of the late Elmer and Thelma Plyler Horton.  He was a member of White Springs Baptist Church in Lancaster, SC.  He worked with DuPont Invista for 47 years.  He loved the mountains and enjoyed traveling to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Left to cherish his memory his wife of 24 years, Rita Kelley Horton, Bishopville; children, Cindy (Steve) Horton, Lancaster, Allison (Kip) Wright, Heath Springs; grandchildren, Braydon Horton, Ashton Thompson, Ali Grace Wright, Megan Thompson, Justin Thompson, Austin Wright and Mason Wright; great grandchildren, Brynnlee Maccue and Ziva Horton; special great niece, Willow Parker.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Horton and a sister, Debbie Ott.
