Norton Funeral Home Funeral services for Mr. Glenn David Hartsell, Sr. age 85 will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Philip Watry and Rev. Jerry Gainey will officiate. Burial will be in Darlington Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5-7pm at the funeral home. Mr. Hartsell passed away May 27 at Morrell Memorial Nursing Center. He was born in Kannapolis, NC the son of the late Henry and Myrtle Lee White Hartsell. Mr. Hartsell attended Indian Branch United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Hartsville Masonic Lodge #173. He was retired from Daniels Construction Company. He leaves behind his two loving dogs, Talley and Tipper. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ann Player Hartsell, Hartsville; son, Glenn David (Cheryl) Hartsell, Jr., Hartsville; daughters, Glenda (Larry) Kissiah, Hartsville, Patsy Jane (Ronnie) Clay, Concord, NC, Shirley Hartsell, NC; sister, Rachel (Jessie) Greene, Orangeburg; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. www.nortonfh.net
