Bishopville, S.C. Funeral services for Gladys Rodgers DuBose, age 88, who passed away January 24, will be held Friday at 4:00 pm at Memorial Chapel Church. Rev. Paul Atkinson, Rev. John Hall, Rev. Gary Boykin, will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Chapel Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 pm at the Funeral Home. Mrs. DuBose was born in Bishopville a daughter of the late Furman & Irene Stokes Rodgers. She was a faithful member of Memorial Chapel Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother in law and Aunt. While living in Manning for three years she attended Cross Road Bible Fellowship Church. Surviving are four daughters, Pat (Michael) Ries, Hasting, MN, Mildred (Wilburn) Christmas, Bishopville, Christine (Robert) Bryant, Manning, Grace (Ken) Toler, Overland Park, KS, two sons, Jimmy (Doris) DuBose, Bishopville, Ray (Susan) DuBose, Lucknow, She had two deceased sons, Donnie & Alvin DuBose, surviving also includes a sister, Betty Brandham, Sumter, two brothers, James Rodgers, Oswego, Maxwell Rodgers, Sumter, daughter in law, Dot DuBose, Bishopville, 19 Grandchildren, 42 Great Grandchildren, 30 Great Great Grandchildren, many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James A. DuBose, sister, Eunice DuBose, five brothers, Russel, Bryon, Ezra, J.W. & Heyward Rodgers, one grandson, Doug DuBose.
