Gerlyn Shumate

Hartsville, S.C. Memorial service for Gerlyn Johnson Shumate, age 80, known by all who loved her as GG , who passed away October 9, was held Saturday. Mrs. Shumate was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Baxter & Ethel Winburn Johnson. Surviving are her husband, J.A. (Dink) Shumate, Jr.; Children, Steve (Etral) Shumate and Debbie (Chris) Ridenhour; Grandchildren, Drew Shumate, Ryan (Gerit) Ridenhour, Stephen (Jennifer) Ridenhour and Brant (Lynn) Woodham; Great Grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia, Cameron, Matthew and Brooke.
