Obituary has been updated due to a chance of inclement weather, the services will now be held at Norton Funeral Homes Chapel.

Graveside services for Georgia M. Morrison age 87 formerly of Hartsville will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Pastor Danny Pierce will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held Saturday 12:30-1:30pm at Norton Funeral Home.  Due to inclement weather the burial will private at New Market UMC Cemetery.

Mrs. Morrison passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.  She was born in Hartsville the daughter of the late Finley Forrest Morrison, Sr. and Ella Cox Morrison.  She retired from Greenville Hospital System after 29 years of service as a Medical Technologist.  She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed beach music and shagging.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving family, Heidi (Walt) Hamlyn, Greenville, Hayley Hamlyn, Greenville, Jarrett (Dedra) Hamlyn, Greenville, Mason Hamlyn, Greenville, Camryn Hamlyn, Greenville, Brandie (Curtis) Morrison-Wooten, Greenville, Jayden Wooten, Greenville, Adam Morrison-Wooten, Greenville, Hazel Morrison-Wooten, Greenville, John John Morrison-Wooten, Greenville.  Many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Annie, Addie, Forrest, Johnny, Early, Doc, Scott.
