Graveside services for Mr. George Madison “Bud” Byrd age 76 will be held 3:00pm Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Darlington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Tim Skipper will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 2:30pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Bud passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Hartsville the son of the late Thomas Madison and Mable Morrison Byrd. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company and a member of the Old Timers Club. He loved riding his Harley and having fun with family and friends. He loved his family and spending time with them.

Surviving are his grandchildren, Kenneth Madison (Shaina) Byrd, II, Hartsville, Elizabeth Byrd (Nathan) Thomas, Clemson; great grandchildren, Lollah Thomas, James Sawyer Thomas, Carson Mae Thomas, Joah Byrd; sister, Anna Mae Polson, Hartsville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Madison Byrd.
