Geneva Elizabeth (Beth) Watson

Services of Remembrance for Geneva Elizabeth “Beth” Scurry Watson age 69 will be held 4:00pm Wednesday at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville Chapel. Pastor Mike Watson and Pastor John O’Cain will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.  Burial will be Ashwood Baptist Church Cemetery.

Beth was born in Bishopville the daughter of Mary Amerson Scurry and the late John Roland Scurry, Sr.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, she was very active with the ministries at Philadelphia Southern Methodist Church and Timmonsville Southern Methodist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend to all. 

Left to cherish her memory her husband of 40 years, Mike Watson, Bishopville;  mother, Mary Amerson Scurry of Bishopville; children, Angel (Jon) Brannon, Bishopville, Gabe (April) Scurry, Neeses, SC, Stephanie (Rob) Jones, Lugoff, Melanie (William) Turner, Florence, Rayne Watson, Bishopville, Ryleigh Watson, Bishopville; fourteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Johnny (Denise) Scurry, Bishopville; sisters, Kathy (Larry) Nelson, Lugoff, Brenda Geddings, Bishopville
