View Remembrance Video Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Geneva Steadman Smith age 86, who went home to be with her Lord & Savior on July 18, will be held Monday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Evelyn Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 4-6 pm at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith was born in Fayetteville a daughter of the late Luther & Rachael Poole Steadman. She was retired from Byerly Hospital after 29 years of service, was a member of Christian Fellowship Assembly of God Church. For many years she had her card ministry which was an inspiration to many people and she loved her family dearly. Surviving are two sons, Mike (Kathy) Smith, Myrtle Beach and Danny (Helen) Smith, Hartsville; one daughter, Angie (Jackie) Gainey, Hartsville; one sister, Betty Lou Bradshaw, Columbia; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred (Dub) Smith; one son, Jerry Smith; one brother, Thomas E. Steadman; two sisters, Faye Avant and Dorothy Harris.
