Funeral services for Fred O Daniel Dority age 83, will be held Friday at 4:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home in Bishopville. Rev. Bobby Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery in Hartsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Dority was born in Hartsville a son of the late Press and Alma Stratton Dority. He was employed with the City of Hartsville for a number of years.

Surviving are one daughter, Ellen (Anthony) Burcham, Sumter; two sons, Robert Dority, Lamar and Daniel (Marilyn) Dority, Darlington; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one brother, Johnny Dority, Hartsville and one sister, Martha (Billy) Jordan, Leland, N.C.
