Graveside services for Franklin M. Tyner will be held 2:00pm Sunday at Kelleytown Baptist Church Cemetery, visitation will be held Saturday 5:00-7:00pm at Norton Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Earl Yarborough, 1145 Mainsail Drive, Hartsville, SC.

Born on May 1, 1942 in Hartsville SC, he was the son of Marion F Tyner and Bernice L. Tyner.

He will be remembered as being strong, resilient, and inspiring.  His personality and smile would light up the room and was employed by Sonoco for 41 years.  He was also a volunteer fireman with the Hartsville Fire Department for 30 years. He enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves Baseball, fishing and taking cruises with his wife and friends.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather

He loved is cat, Bobo.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Tyner; 4 sons, Earl Yarborough(Lori), Hartsville; Treacy Yarborough, Asheville, NC; Brian Yarborough, Bluffton, SC; and Mark Yarborough(Cindy), Pawleys Island, SC.  3 Granddaughters, Megan Boucher(Chris), Mt. Pleasant, SC; Sarah Prince(Samuel), Sandersville, GA; Catherine Yarbrough, Charleston, SC.  2 great grandsons, Lian Boucher and Sammy Prince.

He was preceded in death by his 7 siblings.
