Frank Winburn, Jr.

Frank, a son of the late Frank, Sr. & Mildred Gainey Winburn, was a lifelong resident of Darlington County. He served as a lead mechanic for Donna Jean’s Chevrolet and later, Dean’s Auto Service, where he retired from. Mr. Winburn honorably served our country in the United States Army.

 

Surviving is his children Edward Eugene Winburn, Tammy Lynn Huether and Missy Thomas; grandchildren: Judith Cox, Taylor (Alvin Boykin) Andrews, Robert Vanhorn, Jr., Teresa Stephens, Caroline Chapman, Skyler Mayer, Landon Gore, Joseph Johnson; great-grandchildren: Haley Elizabeth Boykin, Natasha Rain Boykin, Lilly Walker, Arianna Vanhorn, Bailey Vanhorn, Addie Chapman, Isaac O’Neal, Athena Manningault, Aiden Johnson, Jace Johnson, Mason Johnson, Cam Johnson, Addie Johnson; brother, William Hugh Winburn and sister, Geneas Huether.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Crystal Renee Mayer; siblings: Marshall Winburn, Bobby Winburn, and Benny Lee Winburn.

 

His service will be conducted at 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon, July 12th, 2023, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
