Frances Zecher

Bishopville, S.C. Funeral services for Frances M. Zecher, age 87, who passed away May 18, will be held Sat. at 2:00pm at the High Hill True Light Church of Christ in Lucknow. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 pm at Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville Chapel. Burial will be in the High Hill True Light Church of Christ Cemetery. Frances was a daughter of the late Doctor J.E. Watkins and Fannie Watkins . She moved to Washington, D.C. during the war and married her husband, the late Henry Wilson Zecher. With her husband, she raised a family in Rockville Maryland and worked at the Pentagon during the war and later worked for the Montgomery County Public Schools. When she retired, she moved back to South Carolina where she resided with her sister, Mary Hoover. Frances was a member of the High Hill True Light Church of Christ in Lucknow. She is survived by two children, Henry Wilson Zecher, Jr., Waukesha, Wisconsin and Marilyn Zecher-Riefner, Rockville, Maryland as well as her family here in South Carolina, especially her beloved sister Mary Hoover. www.nortonfh.net
