Louise B. Johnson

Mrs. Louise B. Johnson, 93, of Camden, went to be with The Lord on Thursday morning, March 23^rd, 2023, while at McCoy Memorial Nursing Center.

Born in Bishopville, Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late Woodrow & Naomi Troublefield Barrett.  Louise loved spending time outdoors, working in her flowers.  She retired from Bishopville Manufacturing after 35 years of service and was a member of Mizpah Baptist Church for 75+ years.  Louise loved feeding everyone and even while in assisted living, she wanted to make sure everyone was fed.  During the holidays, she would always make sure bags of goodies were made to be given to others.

Surviving are her children: Frankie Johnson, Jackie Marsh, Rose (Craig) Harvey, and Larry (Christi) Johnson; brother, JW Barrett; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hillard Johnson; children: Eugene Johnson, George Johnson, Betty Corbett, Mitchell Johnson; and 5 sisters.

Her service will be conducted at 4:00 on Sunday afternoon, March 26^th, 2023, from Mizpah Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Nelson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery and the family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall.
