Ethell Jones

Funeral services for Ethell (Click) Jones, age 78, will be held Saturday at 12:00 Noon at the Piney Plain Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. William Griggs will officiate. Burial will be in the Piney Plain Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Friday 6-8 at the home of Linda Mitchell, 2628 Patrick Highway, Hartsville and a visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.

Mr. Jones was born in Mullins a son of the late Vance and Mary Altman Jones. He was a member of Piney Plain Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from Asplundh Tree Company after several years of service. He was a loving man who served God and always put Jesus First in his life since he was saved in 2005. He lived his life being a witness and giving his testimonies to try and reach others to Christ by sharing all the amazing things that God had done for him. He also loved his family and church family very much and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his wife, Nioka Griggs Jones, Hartsville; one daughter Bridgette (Nathan) Isgett, Hartsville; two sons, Allen (Tisha) Jones, Hartsville and David (Chasey) Brown and family, Cheraw; one grandson, Ethan Jones, Hartsville; one brother, Douglas (Faye) Jones, Florence; two sisters, Dorothy Stephens, Florence and Emma Ellen McCall, Lexington, N.C.

Memorials may be made to the Piney Plain Free Will Baptist Church, % Mrs. Linda Mitchell, 2628 Patrick Highway, Hartsville, S.C.
