Etha Alford

Hartsville, S.C. Graveside services for Etha Mae Alford, age 90, who passed away August 10, will be held Friday at 2:00 at the Garden of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, N.C. directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Alford was born in McColl a daughter of the late Charlie & Macie Osbourne Huggins. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are two daughters, Bobbie (Tony) Huggins, Hartsville and Janice A. Clayton, Roxboro, N.C.; two brothers, Woodrow Huggins, Lumberton and James (Buddy) and wife Dorothy Huggins, Sumter; six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wardy Bishop Alford, daughter, Sharon A. Henson, brother, Cecil Huggins, sisters, Pearlie Wilson and Frances Copeland.
