Funeral services for Ernest (Ernie) Jamerson Watson, Jr. age 62 will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Kathy Carr and Chaplain Chris Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the residence at 235 Johnson Pond Road, Bishopville, S.C. 29010.

Ernie was born in Bishopville a son of Catherine Hatfield Watson and the late Ernest Jamerson Watson, Sr. He was employed with Coca Cola for the past 44 years. He attended Concord United Methodist Church. He loved to cut grass and watch the grandchildren play ball.

Surviving are his wife, Sherry Reynolds Watson, Bishopville; his mother of Bishopville; one son, Wilbur Coke Scarborough, Jr., Bishopville; two daughters, Wendy Rushing, Bishopville and Jessica (Matt) Makela, Bishopville; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Thomas Watson, Bishopville.
