Elsie Barnes Bullock

Services of Remembrance for Elsie Barnes Bullock age 83 will be held 4:00pm Monday at Concord United Methodist Church.  Pastor Champ Squires and Sister Hazel Mixon will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home and Crematory, Bishopville Chapel.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, 5:00-7:00pm at Norton Funeral Home in Bishopville.

Mrs. Bullock went to her heavenly home Saturday, June 25, 2022, she was at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was a lifetime resident of Bishopville, SC, the daughter of the late Claude and Willie Bell Watts Barnes.  She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church where she was the pianist for numerous years.  Elsie was the secretary-bookeeper-BOSS, for many  years working beside her husband at Busters Garage.  She was a devoted wife, mother and DA to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Buster Bullock, Bishopville; daughters, Sheila (Cooney) McDougald, Bishopville, Susan (Gilliam) Gardner, McBee, Stacie (Cam) Watson, Florence; sister, Bobbie Arrants, Bishopville; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Mark D. Lyles.
