Eloise Browne

June 11, 1926 — September 21, 2013

Hartsville, S.C. A Celebration of Life for Eloise Rabon Browne age 87, who passed away September 21, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 at New Market United Methodist Church. Rev. Phillip Watry and Rev. Myrna Westfall will officiate. Entombment will be in the Westview Mausoleum directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday 5-7pm at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Browne was born in Kershaw County a daughter of the late Tillman & Annie Ray Rabon. She was retired from McBee Manufacturing as a Seamstress after many years of service. She served as a faithful wife of her husband as he served many churches in the Pee Dee Area. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Tommy Browne, Hartsville; one daughter, Tiletha ( Lee) Lane, Hartsville; two sons, Tim (Nancy) Browne, Hartsville and Ray Parnell, Hartsville; daughter in law, Esther Crowley Parnell, Hartsville; three sisters, her twin sister, Elise Hancock, Lugoff, Lillian Barwick, Sumter and Vivian (Lewis) Atkinson, Oswego; one brother, Dallas (Pete) and his wife Judy Rabon, Lugoff; six grandchildren, Michelle Parnell (Chris) Turner, Hartsville, Alison Parnell (Ryan) Miller, Hartsville, Taylor Parnell (Stacy) Lail, Hickory, N.C., Katelyn Browne, Wofford College, Austin Browne, Hartsville and Preston Lane, Hartsville; 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Raymond Parnell and one son, Kenneth Michael (Mike) Parnell.
