Ellen Ann Hawkins Tiller

Mrs. Ellen Ann Hawkins Tiller, 76, of Hartsville, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Wednesday afternoon, March 16th, 2022, while at home with her family.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 on Saturday afternoon, March 19th, 2022, from New Providence Baptist Church.  Reverend Cliff Leonard and Reverend Jeff Williams will officiate with burial following the church cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

A native and lifelong resident of Hartsville, Mrs. Tiller was a daughter of the late James Archie & Beatrice DeFee Hawkins.  Ann was a Sunday School Teacher for numerous years and greatly loved her family.  Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her world.  She enjoyed traveling; going to the beach and shopping.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Don Tiller of the home; daughters, Donna Tiller of Hartsville and Tammy Hammer of Society Hill; grandchildren: Chad (Angie) Jones of Hartsville and Shane Jones also of Hartsville; great-grandchildren: Chloe, Grace, Mary, Dillon, Cody; and a brother, George “Hank” Hawkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
