Eldon was born in Bainbridge, GA a son of the late Willis L. & Emma Jean Horn Heard. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Air force from 1966 – 1970. He retired from Carolina Industrial Service of Sumter, S.C. Eldon enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed working and serving the Lord at Calvary Baptist Church in Bishopville and was a 1966 graduate of Bainbridge High School.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to his Caregivers, Jan, Clarence, Mike, Wendy and Kayla and also to the staff of Hospice Care of South Carolina.
