Edward Lelon "Ed" Hoven

Mr. Edward Lelon “Ed” Hoven, 81, of Bishopville, passed away Monday morning, June 27^th, 2022, while at MUSC Health – Downtown Columbia.

A memorial service will be conducted at 9:30 on Saturday morning, July 2^nd, 2022, from Concord United Methodist Church with Reverend Champ Squires and Reverend Nathan Johnson officiating.  The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the church.  His body will be laid to rest in a private service at the Hoven Cemetery. 

A native of Mobile, AL, Mr. Hoven was a son of the late Lelon Chapman & Audrey Graham Hoven.  Ed loved being outdoors, spending time on their farm with his animals.  He retired from working construction.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Huggins Hoven; son, Daniel Wayne Hoven; siblings: Velma Lowe, Joyce Ford, Mildred Hoven, John Hoven; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and his fur-baby, Tippy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Marcus Edward Hoven, Patsy Marie Bryant; and a brother, Leonard Hoven.
