Services for Edna Bell Scott Boykin age 79 widow of Willie Thomas Boykin, Sr. will be held on Thursday at 3:00pm at the Hartsville Church of God.  Pastor Patrick Dye and Pastor Cecil Stevens will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Bishopville.  Visitation will be held Thursday 1:00-3:00pm at the church.

Mrs. Boykin passed away at her residence on May 7, 2018.  She was born in Lee County, the daughter of the late Robert Ernest and Nellie Lee Hopkins Scott.

Surviving are her children, Randy Boykin, Bishopville, Patsy (Terry) Baker, Bishopville, Lois Crowley, Hartsville, Willie T. (Darlene) Boykin, Jr., Camden, Stevie Lee (Diane) Boykin, Cassatt; sisters, Sylvia Holloman, Camden, Annie Mae Rogers, Raeford, NC.  Two grandchildren who she raised as her own, Shannon and Chad Hancock, numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Rev. Bruce Dalton Scott, Hebron Scott, Robert Lee Scott, Sarah Tidwell and Carolyn Arrants.
