Hartsville, SC Mrs. Naomi Edwards age 82 passed away January 6, 2011 surrounded by friends and family at Morrell Nursing Center. Visitation will be Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 3-5pm at the home of Buck and Patricia Steen, 128 Jackson Street, Hartsville. Naomi was the daughter of the late Willie and Vera Edwards. She was retired from The Scott Center. She was a devoted mother, sister and grandmother that loved her family. She spent her life taking care of others. She is survived by daughter, Patricia (Buck) Steen of Hartsville; son, Larry (Marilyn) Oliver of Concord, NC; sister, Virginia (Ray) Davis, Miriam Houck of Hartsville, Doris (Phillip) Marquis of Pleasant Grove UT; brothers, Rufus (Gladys) Edwards of Lysander NY, Deani (Margaret) Edwards of Hartsville. 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren; her childrens father and stepmother, Laurence (Rae) Oliver of Manning, SC, also lots of special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Charles Buddy Edwards. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the love and care provided for her by the staff at Morrell Nursing Center of Hartsville. Norton Funeral Home is assisting the family.
