Earl Walton

Patrick, S.C. Funeral services for Earl Gene Walton age 68, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 at the Patrick Baptist Church. Rev. Grover Johnson and Rev. Don Rhyne will officiate. Burial will be in the Patrick Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be anytime Tuesday at the residence at 120 George Freeman Lane, Patrick, S.C. Earl was born in Darlington a son of the late Creed Fulton Walton, II and Edith (Maggie) Williams Phillips. He was a member of the Patrick Baptist Church. He retired from PPM. To know Earl was to love him. He was a dedicated Christian and loved to play the guitar. His passion was Faith, Family, Music. Surviving are his wife, Pam Chisholm Walton, Patrick; four sons, Caleb Walton, Patrick, Peter (Carly) Walton, Roanoke, VA, Eric (Marin) Jeffers, Las Vegas, Nevada and Billy Jeffers, Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Sarah (Ossie) Beauchene, Charleston and Becky (Ricky) Shelton, Frankfort, KY; three brothers, Creed Fulton (Susie) Walton, III, Florence, Danny (Hilda) Phillips, Lexington and Ralph (Kay) Phillips, Summerville; five grandchildren, Thomas Walton, Keller Walton, Andrew Taulbee, Wynne Beauchene and Aris Jeffers. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rose (J.R.) Hatcher and his step father, Leo Phillips. Norton Funeral Home is honor to serve the Walton family.
