Graveside services for Dorothy Jean Freeman age 85 will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at the Welsh Neck Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Patrick Polston will officiate. Visitation will be following the graveside service.

Mrs. Freeman was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Archie and Mazalee Outlaw Gainey. She attended the Society Hill Church of God.

Surviving are six sisters, Joyce Freeman, Society Hill, Juanita Jones, Hartsville, Evelyn Gulledge, Kannapolis, N.C., Lillian Bowlin, Kannapolis, N.C., Ann Smith, Forrest, Miss., Rachael Martin, Columbia; one brother, Thomas Gainey, Society Hill; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one son in law, Donnie Gandy, Society Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband J.K. Freeman; son, Alvin (Dusty) Freeman and one daughter, Joann Gandy.
