Debbie Ann Spaziani

Hartsville, SC 

     It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Debbie Ann Spaziani. Mrs. Spaziani, 69, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 15th, 2025, while at home, surrounded by her family.

     Debbie was born in Oneonta, NY, a daughter of the late Winfield & Doris Cole Mattice. Describing Debbie in just one paragraph is not an easy task. She loved traveling and was always up for an adventure! From going on cruises, to exploring waterfalls, she was up for anything. Debbie was a true “ball of fire,” and giving up was not an option for her. She also enjoyed Harley Rallies and was a true “handyman” around home.

     Surviving to cherish her memories is her husband, Alexander Spaziani; children, Stephanie (Derek) Utter and Kristina (Jason) Clay; grandchildren: Kailyn Miller, Gavin Utter, and Makenna Utter; great-grandchild, Isabel Lind; brothers, David Mattice and Glenn “Butch” Mattice; also surviving are numerous family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Leonardo Lamartina.

     The family invites friends for a service in celebration of a life well lived at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon, January 18th, 2025, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Kevin Walters officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service at the funeral home.
