Deani Herbert Edwards

Graveside services for Deani Herbert Edwards, age 85 will be held Sunday at 2:00 at the Magnolia Cemetery with full Military Honors directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be following the service at the graveside.

Deani was born in Hartsville, a son of the late Willie Adam Edwards and Vera Helen Edwards. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service and later retired from Wellman Industries. He was a wonderful husband, Father, Grandfather, Great grandfather and Uncle.

Surviving is his estranged wife, Tina Freeman Edwards, Cheraw, S.C.; one daughter, Deanna (Carroll) Gainey, Hartsville; one son, Robert (Christina) Edwards, Germany; four grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley) Gainey, Hartsville, Justin (Chelsea) Gainey, Hartsville, Stephanie (Koty) Price, Myrtle Beach and Patrick (Katie) Edwards, Monroe, N.C.; two great grandchildren, Kendall Gainey, Hartsville and Henry Price, Myrtle Beach; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jutta Edwards and his second wife, Margaret Edwards; Siblings, Virginia Davis, Miriam Houck, Doris Marquis, Charles Edwards, Rutherford Edwards and Naomi Edwards.
