David Williams

Mr. David Wayne Williams, 57, of Hartsville, passed away Sunday December 23rd, 2018, at his residence.

The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27th, 2018, in the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born in Hartsville, a son of the late Dewey and Sarah Yarborough Williams.  He served our country in the Air Defense portion of the U.S. Army and enjoyed working on old cars and fishing.  David was a very hard worker who enjoyed talking with others and loved animals.

Surviving are his wife, Vicky Williams of the home; daughters, Danielle Heath and husband, Josh of Hartsville and Chelsea Williams of Rock Hill; grandchild, Kinsley Heath of Hartsville; mother, Frances Williams of Hartsville; siblings: Jean Connell and husband, Robert of Hartsville; Wally Williams and wife, Trudy of Ellijay, Georgia, Sarah Friedman and husband, Cary of Lexington, and Connie Smith of Hartsville; niece, Angel Schelich of Green Cove Springs, Florida; great-niece, Katherine Byrd of Hartsville; and sister-in-law’s, Dawana Gainey of Matthews, Georgia and Tammy Nagle of Hartsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Howard Gainey and sister, Lisa Howell.
