Dante Parrott

Hartsville, S.C. Dante Hugh Parrott age 67, passed fromdeath intolife Everlasting on February 25. Celebration of his life will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Bethel United Methodist Church. Dr. Tim McKnight & Rev. Ken Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Dante was born in Hartsville a son of Grettie Gilbert Parrott and the late Maurice Scott Parrott, Sr. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, retired from Rexam in Bishopville, served in the Air Force during the Cuban Crisis. He was a loving husband, devoted father and wonderful Pa to his grandchildren. He lived his life for his family and for his Lord. Surviving are his wife, Betty Howell Parrott, Hartsville, His mother of Hartsville, Mother in Law, Otcha Mae Gardner, Oats, son, Kevin Hugh (Gretchen) Parrott, Hartsville, daughter, Tonya Parrott (Chris) Bell, Morristown, TN, grandchildren, Dawson Graham Bell, Karis Hope Bell, Kierstin Lashae Bell, all of Morristown, TN, brother, Maurice Scott Parrott, Jr. ,Hartsville, sister in law, Peggy (Gerald) Gainey, Hartsville, brother in law, Willie James (Janie) Howell, Lamar.
